“What I Learned in Introduction to Psychology” Project
PSY 101
For this assignment, you have an opportunity to reflect on what you have learned in
Introduction to Psychology. This project is different because there are no guidelines or rules on
how it should look. It is your chance to be creative and innovative in reflecting on what you
have learned and how it applies to your life.
What should the project look like?
*
This project should be creative and should show what you have learned in this class and
how you have integrated those psychological principles into your own life.
*
You can create a slide show with sound, write a poem, write and sing a
song, create a digital memory book and so on. You can create a website, a blog, a Prezi
presentation, a power point with audio, a podcast, a Powtoon, etc.
*
Keep in mind that this is a creative project, so there is no right or wrong.
*
Make sure your project is appealing to the eye.
*
The goal of this project is to show some creativity. If you just create a basic power point
slide presentation with no audio, you would not earn more than an 80 on the project.
*
The use of humor is allowed. This does not have to be 100% academic, especially in
sharing your application of what you learned.
Requirements
*
The main requirement is that you must share something that you have learned from
each chapter in your textbook and how it applies to you in some way. There are 14
chapters, so there should be 14 things you learned and 14 applications.
*
There should be no grammatical or spelling errors.
*
If you borrow pictures, etc., be sure to provide a reference list in APA format.
*
Be sure to look at the rubric to ensure you meet all the guidelines for the assignment.
How do I submit my project?
*
Your project will be submitted under the Assignments folder in Week 15 for your
instructor to grade.
*
You will attach your project into the discussion thread under the last week of class to
share it with your classmates.
